Meet people when they need advice
SEO for financial advisors helps people find your practice when a life event pushes them to seek advice. Retirement, a redundancy or an inheritance are common starting points. We write pages for those moments, explain your fees and keep adviser details consistent with the Financial Advisers Register. Your licensee approves the copy before release.
Our client SHORE’s non-brand Google appearances rose from 1,204 to 9,492, about 7.9x, between two four-week windows. See the comparison.
Our work and thinking
We built SHORE’s website and run its SEO. Both four-week windows are in the guide, next to the Google answer that named SHORE’s duplex.

Read the GEO guideAdvice searches start with a change
Many people look for advice after a change, such as a redundancy, an inheritance or a set retirement date. Good SEO for financial advisers starts there, with a page for each moment. Our SEO services build them around the advice your practice gives and the clients you want more of.
A retirement enquiry can cover income planning, super or a move into aged care. We explain which of those decisions your practice advises on and who handles them. Each page sets out what the first meeting includes, when paid advice begins and how ongoing service differs. People can judge the engagement before discussing their finances.
The Financial Advisers Register lists people authorised to give personal advice on relevant financial products to retail clients. We match your team profiles to their current entries and name your AFS licensee. Advisers, provisional advisers and support staff are each described by their real role. Your licensee checks titles and authorisations before the pages go live.
People ask what an adviser costs long before they book. Moneysmart tells them to read your Financial Services Guide for fees and any links to product providers. We explain your fee approach in plain words on the website, from the first meeting to ongoing service. The figures match your current guide, so a client never meets two versions.
ASIC’s advertising guidance says testimonials should be genuine and attributed to the person who gave them. A client comment you leave on your website or Facebook page after seeing it becomes your responsibility. We check what your pages show and keep only genuine, attributed comments. Your licensee’s policy decides whether testimonials appear at all.
Articles on super, contributions or aged care help people understand a topic before they call. We write them as general information, with the warning your licensee requires. Thresholds and caps change, so each article carries the date it was checked. ASIC warns that past performance can mislead when it suggests the same returns will continue. We keep past returns off your pages.
Searches for an adviser nearby often show a Google map above the websites. Your listing’s category should describe the advice you give. Its hours should match when you actually meet clients. If you also meet by video, the website should say so. Replies to reviews stay short and never discuss a client’s situation.

AI search
Someone can ask ChatGPT whether to see an adviser before taking a redundancy payout. ChatGPT search links to the pages its answer draws on. A general article that explains the decision and names your practice gives it something accurate to cite. We prepare those articles to your licensee’s standard through our AI search optimisation.
Google’s AI Overviews and AI Mode include links to supporting pages. Perplexity answers carry citations as well. An answer may describe your fees or services from an old page. We keep fee pages and adviser profiles consistent with the register and your current guide.
Some people ask AI tools to compare advisers by how they charge. A fee page that says whether you charge a fixed fee or a percentage lets the answer describe you correctly. We track those comparison questions each month and fix the page when your fees change.
How we work
Tell us the situations you advise on most and want more of. We check how people search for help with each one.
We compare your website with the register and your current guide. We list every title, number and fee that needs correcting.
We send each month’s drafts together, with a source beside every figure. Your compliance team reviews them in one pass.
When thresholds or your fees change, we update the affected pages. Each page shows when its facts were last checked.
Good questions
Suburb SEO starts at $890/month + GST. Local SEO is $1,500/month + GST, SEO Growth $2,900/month + GST and SEO Authority $4,900/month + GST. Growth setup is $750 + GST, waived when you commit to six months. A practice serving clients in more than one area may suit Growth. Compliance review time also sets how much you can publish, so we plan each month around it. Our SEO audit is free.
For being found by new clients, focus on Google’s AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity. Each one links to the websites behind its answers, so your own pages can shape what they say. We track your practice across all three with the same questions each month. Then we improve the pages those answers rely on.
Your licensee identifies the warnings and disclosures each page needs. We keep them beside the claims they qualify and make them readable on a phone. Fees, benefits and risks are reviewed together before release. When a claim or figure changes, we send the affected wording back through the same approval process.
We check the overall message, fees, benefits, risks and any comparisons against ASIC’s advertising guidance. Reviews must be genuine and attributed. Your licensee decides whether to use them. We keep supporting sources with each draft and send the complete page for approval. A small disclaimer cannot repair a misleading main claim.
