For local florists who arrange and deliver
SEO for florists helps people who want flowers delivered find your shop and order from you directly. Demand spikes around Mother’s Day and Valentine’s Day, then settles into steady birthday and sympathy orders. We prepare occasion pages weeks ahead and show your delivery suburbs and cut-off times. We also keep your Google Business Profile current.
SHORE, a Sydney builder we work with, was missing from a ChatGPT shortlist in our first check. About two months later it was listed first. See both answers.
Our work and thinking
We built SHORE’s website and run its SEO. Our guide shows a Google AI Overview citing the SOL duplex page we built for SHORE. SHORE’s non-brand Google appearances rose from 1,204 to 9,492 between two four-week windows.

A flower shop’s year turns on a few big dates and many last-minute orders. Buyers who cannot find a local shop online order through national sites instead. A local florist loses the margin and the customer. We give your shop pages that are ready before each peak. On every other day they make delivery clear.
Australian searches for “mothers day flowers” fell to about 320 a month in July 2025. They reached about 246,000 in May 2026. A page published the week before has little time to be found. We prepare your Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day and Christmas pages well ahead. Each one keeps the same address every year, so it builds on last year’s visits.
A buyer at 11am wants to know if flowers can still arrive today. If your site hides the cut-off, they order from a site that shows it. We put your same-day cut-off, delivery days and fees on product pages. Your Google profile shows them too. Our SEO services update those details before every public holiday.
National order sites also publish suburb pages. In December 2024 the Federal Court ordered Meg’s Flowers to pay $1 million over false local claims. Its 156 suburb websites and thousands of Google ads implied a local florist where none existed. We write delivery pages only for suburbs you serve. Each names your shop and the florists who arrange the orders.
Australian searches for “funeral flowers” average about 4,400 a month. These buyers are upset and short of time. They need delivery to a funeral home before the service and help with card wording. We build a sympathy page listing the funeral homes you deliver to and your timing. It shows how to add a card message.
Wedding and event flowers start with a consultation. Couples look for your styles, past weddings, minimum spend and how far ahead to book. We give that work its own pages. The enquiry form asks for the date, venue and colours. Your shop pages stay quick for everyday orders.
Google treats a shop that also delivers as a hybrid business. You can show your storefront address and hours and list up to 20 service areas. A studio with no walk-in customers should hide its address instead. We set this up correctly and update holiday hours before each peak date.
SEO plan fit
For a single suburb, Suburb SEO costs $890/month + GST with no setup fee and runs month to month. SEO Growth is $2,900/month + GST and covers up to three areas. That suits a florist delivering across several districts. Setup is $750 + GST, waived when you commit to six months. Every SEO plan is month to month, so you can cancel anytime. A single-suburb shop can start on Local SEO at $1,500/month + GST. The SEO audit is free.

AI search
A customer could ask ChatGPT which florist can deliver to Randwick today for under $100. Clear delivery suburbs, cut-offs and bouquet prices show that buyer whether your shop fits. Our AI search optimisation builds those delivery facts into your product and suburb pages. Buyers can check whether you deliver to their suburb today.
Each engine works a little differently. Google builds AI Overviews from pages it can already show in Search. ChatGPT and Perplexity run live searches and cite links. A broad question about the best delivery service in Australia may surface national brands. Suburb questions are where a local shop with specific delivery details can appear.
People also ask AI tools how far ahead to order flowers or which flowers last longest. We answer those questions on your pages, using your own lead times and stems. A buyer who gets a straight answer from your shop has a reason to order there.
How we work
Tell us the suburbs you deliver to, your fees and cut-offs. Add the funeral homes and venues you already serve.
We set a calendar for Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Christmas and your local events. Pages go live well before each one.
We write product, occasion and sympathy pages from your bouquets and prices. You check stems, sizes and substitution rules.
After each big date we compare orders, calls and searches with the last one. Then we adjust next year’s pages.
Good questions
It depends on the occasion. Your website should say so. Everyday bouquets can often go same day before your cut-off. Mother’s Day and Valentine’s Day orders need more notice, so state your pre-order dates clearly. Weddings and events need weeks or months for a consultation. Clear lead times reduce phone calls and help buyers order with confidence.
The best one shows delivery suburbs, cut-off times and real prices without friction. Platforms such as Shopify can handle products and checkout. Search results depend more on pages for each occasion, suburb and sympathy order. A card message field and delivery date picker matter to buyers. Choose a platform your team can update before each peak date.
Start where buyers already look for flowers: Google, Maps and AI tools. Fill in your Google Business Profile with photos, delivery areas and holiday hours. Publish occasion pages well before each peak. Build ties with local funeral homes, venues and planners, who refer regular orders. Paid ads work best for the short window before big dates.
Be specific where national services are vague. Name the suburbs you deliver to, your cut-off and the florist who arranges each order. Show your own arrangements rather than stock photos. Keep reviews coming from real customers. Buyers who want a local florist can then see that you are one.
