Let’s talk

Leichhardt · Norton Street

Leichhardt websites, from Norton Street out.

Leichhardt has three commercial faces: Norton Street's restaurants and cafes, the bridal boutiques on Parramatta Road and the shops around Marion Street.

Each one sells differently. We shape the website around the moment a customer decides: a dinner booking, a fitting appointment or a quick visit.

What a Leichhardt business website needs

  • Collections shown by designer
  • Fittings booked by wedding date
  • Dinner and group bookings
  • Light rail directions
  • Photos with the shop's look
  • A page for private dining

The local picture

Little Italy, bridal row and more.

Norton Street, north of Parramatta Road, is the heart of Leichhardt: Italian and other restaurants, cafes and shops, with the Italian Forum's courtyard dining just off the street. Its local business collective, Viva Leichhardt, promotes it as Sydney's Little Italy.

On Parramatta Road, Leichhardt has a cluster of bridal boutiques and designers. A bride may visit several in one day. Most look at the website before booking: the collections, the designers stocked and how appointments work.

The Inner West Light Rail serves the suburb's western and northern edges, with stops including Marion, Taverners Hill and Leichhardt North. MarketPlace Leichhardt, on Marion Street, anchors the everyday shopping nearby.

Good questions

Leichhardt questions.

Can brides book a fitting appointment on our site?

Yes. A fitting request can ask for the wedding date, the styles or designers of interest and a preferred time. It can also connect to the appointment tool you already use.

Should our boutique show prices for gowns?

Many brides want a price guide before booking. A range per designer or collection is usually enough. It saves your team from appointments that won't lead to a sale.

How do we show private dining and group bookings?

Give them their own page with set menus, room sizes and a short enquiry form. Regular table bookings stay on the main menu page so the two don't compete.

We already have a site. Can you redesign it rather than start over?

Yes. We review what already works, keep the addresses that bring in search traffic and rebuild the design and content around them.
